The text roughly says: I shall announce the following since some things are clearly disadvantageous for the measles. Even medicines should be used to diminish the danger but not to nourish the negatives. Things to avoid: dirt, draught, sexual intercourse. Things forbidden: to get cold and stay in humid places, angrerand worry, to stay up late night, moxibustion, long walk, taking bath, in case of a light measles bath can be taken after 21 days; Things you may eat: black and red beans, arrowheads, lotus roots, carrots, Chinese yams, green beans, dried gourd strips, bag rhubarbs, lily, white musk melon, wakame seaweeds, flowering ferns, konbu sea tangles, miso, tofu, kumquats, etc. Thngs you can eat after the measles is scabbed: tofu, hemiramph (fish), goby, and mochi rice cakes, etc. Precaution against the measles: to boil the mixture of five herbs such as olibanume etc. and drink it.
