Moonlight of Taj Mahal Number 4
Date: 1931
Evening scene of a tranquil Taj Mahal that seems to float ethereally above the earth. This view differs from Yoshida’s other depictions of this world heritage site in that it is not a fully frontal view, but shows a more intimate and less formal offset view. Provenance: Purchased directly from the Yoshida Family, so this work has never been circulated.
