Captain Kani Ichita
Date: 1895
We feel the fortitude of Captain Kani Ichita as he stands in the rain during the assault on Two Dragon Hill at the siege of Port Arthur during the Sino-Japanese War. A week later he committed seppuku, because, due to dysentery, he was unable to fight to his fullest at the battle and he found his own weakness unforgivable. Considered the best design in the series.
